Professional Termite Inspections
From Fischer Environmental Serving the Louisiana & Mississippi Gulf Coast
The termite inspections provided by Fischer Environmental are not your run of the mill assessments. Sure, you could get just about anyone to look in your crawlspace for signs of termite droppings or tunnels, or you could even do this yourself, but this would really leave the fate of your building up to chance.
Termites are extremely elusive creatures, and if you do not have the expertise and innovative equipment to track their presence, you could find yourself surprised by a full infestation and costly structural damage in the future. Fortunately, Fischer Environmental not only has decades of experience, but also all of the state-of-the-art equipment necessary to perform a thorough termite inspection.
Our top of the line equipment used in termite inspections includes:
- Infrared Scanners – Infrared, or IR, scanners allow our pest control experts to look beyond the surface of structural materials. Infrared cameras create what are known as thermal images, which enable us to see if water damage or termite damage has created weakened areas throughout your insulation, walls, and other structural areas. These are signs of damage that would not be perceptible by the naked eye.
- Fiber Optic Scopes –Just as a doctor might use a fiber optic scope to view and assess the internal health of a patient, Fischer Environmental uses fiber optic wall scopes to get a close look at the health of your walls. Especially if our infrared scanners have shown signs that your walls – or any other materials – have been damaged, we can take a closer look with these innovative cameras.
The fiber optic scopes have tiny camera lenses on the end of flexible cables that can be snaked through the interior of your walls. Our knowledgeable pest control experts can view the findings and determine if termites, or signs of termites, are present. After many years of using these tools in the field, our termite control professionals know how to obtain the necessary information while doing as little harm to your building as possible.
- Moisture Meters – These meters are used to measure the amount of moisture content in the walls, insulation, surrounding plumbing, and around windows, doors, and other entryways. When there are leaks, termites could have caused the leaks, or termites could be drawn to the moisture. Termites need these water sources in order to thrive when living inside your home. If we can locate and address these high moisture areas, we can work toward making your structure uninhabitable for termites.
State-of-the-Art Technology Included in All Termite Inspections At No Extra Charge to You!
Even if we need to use every type of termite inspection equipment in your home, you will not be charged extra. Fischer Environmental wants to take every step possible in order to give you piece of mind regarding the safety of your home, and we are willing to go that extra mile to accomplish this goal. Our mission is to take every step necessary to find termites before they have a chance to damage your property.
No other local Mississippi or Louisiana termite control company goes through this amount of effort in order to find evidence of termites. Many will just look at the surface, without really inspecting the root of the problem. Fischer Environmental is the pest control service to trust for a full, thorough, and all-inclusive professional termite inspection.
