Hymenopus coronatus

This fruit fly has no idea what’s coming.

This is Hymenopus coronatus, also known as the orchid mantis (for obvious reasons). They are perfectly disguised as flowers and simply have to wait for their food to come to them.
They’re found throughout Malaysia, Indonesian, and Sumatran rain forests and thrive in these humid, warm areas.
